Terms and Conditions

1. Introductory provisions

This is an English translation provided for convenience; in case of any discrepancy, the Slovak version prevails.

These General Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the rights and obligations between the seller, JAMIS PHOTO, s. r. o. (the “Seller”), and the buyer (the “Customer”) when purchasing services and goods through the online shop at www.jamisphoto.eu.

If the Customer is a consumer, matters not covered by these Terms are governed in particular by the Civil Code, Act No. 108/2024 Coll. on Consumer Protection and Act No. 22/2004 Coll. on Electronic Commerce. If the Customer is not a consumer, the relationship is governed by the Commercial Code.

2. Services and goods offered

• photo shoots in the studio, outdoors or at the Customer’s premises (e.g. a photo shoot of up to 90 minutes),
• photo editing (retouching) and electronic delivery of the photos in full-size and web formats,
• gift vouchers for photo shoots,
• photo printing, where included in the offer.

The description, scope and price of each service are stated with the product. Photos shown on the website are for illustration only.

3. Prices

All prices are stated in euros and are final. The Seller is not a VAT payer. Travel costs for photo shoots outside the studio (€0.70 / km from Bratislava) and additional hours of shooting are charged according to the price list, if agreed in advance between the Customer and the Seller.

Discount codes cannot be combined unless stated otherwise and cannot be exchanged for cash.

4. Orders and conclusion of the contract

The Customer adds services to the basket, fills in their contact details, chooses a payment method, confirms their acceptance of the Terms and submits the order using the “Order with obligation to pay” button. Before submitting, the Customer can review and amend the order.

After submitting the order, the Customer will receive, without undue delay, an e-mail confirming receipt of the order with the order number, a summary, the price, the payment method and the Seller’s details. The contract is concluded upon delivery of this confirmation.

The Customer arranges the date of the photo shoot with the Seller by phone or e-mail. A purchased photo shoot must be used within 31 days of the order, unless the parties agree otherwise.

The concluded contract is archived by the Seller for at least 5 years and is not accessible to third parties.

5. Payment terms

• By bank transfer: the Customer receives the payment details in the order confirmation and uses the order number as the variable symbol. Payment is due within 7 days, but no later than before the agreed date of the photo shoot.
• At the studio on the day of the photo shoot, in cash or by payment card.

The Seller will issue the Customer with a receipt for the payment.

6. Delivery of services

The photo shoot takes place at the agreed date and location. The Seller delivers the edited photos electronically, usually within 14 days of the Customer selecting the photos, unless agreed otherwise. Printed photos can be collected by the Customer at the studio or will be sent as agreed.

The Seller sends the gift voucher by e-mail or prepares it for collection at the studio. The voucher is valid for 6 months from purchase, unless stated otherwise on the voucher.

If the Customer fails to attend the agreed photo shoot without an excuse and does not cancel the appointment at least 24 hours in advance, the service is deemed to have been provided.

7. Withdrawal from the contract

A consumer may withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days. Details, exceptions and the form are available on the Withdrawal from the contract page.

8. Liability for defects and complaints

The complaints procedure is set out in the Complaints Policy.

9. Copyright in the photos

The photos are the Seller’s copyright work. The Customer acquires the right to use the delivered photos for personal purposes; for business photo shoots, also to promote themselves or their company. Editing the photos, removing the signature and using them for other commercial purposes is only permitted with the Seller’s consent.

The Seller may use selected photos in their portfolio, on the website and on social media only with the Customer’s consent.

10. Personal data protection

11. Dispute resolution and supervisory authority

The Customer may submit complaints by e-mail to info@jamisphoto.eu. If the Seller rejects a consumer’s request for redress or does not respond within 30 days, the consumer may submit a proposal for alternative dispute resolution to an ADR body, in particular the Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia (Slovak Trade Inspection). A list of ADR bodies is available on the website of the Ministerstvo hospodárstva SR (Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic).

12. Final provisions

These Terms are valid and effective from 9 October 2026. An order is governed by the Terms in force at the time it was submitted.
